Europe's activities surrounding the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) are ramping up and will impact many products. The ESPR Working Plan 2025–2030 is the new operating system for that reality. It sets the order and tempo for ecodesign requirements for specific product groups and the obligation to report on those through Digital Product Passports (DPPs).

What product groups are impact by the ESPR Working Plan?

Apart from batteries, which was already adopted, more 22 product groups have been defined, structured in below table. Each of these product groups will receive a 'Delegated Act', which will contain specifics about requirements about data, governance and technical elements.
