There is no innovation without good storytelling. Today's stories are best told by images and best remembered when they invoke a sentiment of beauty and awe. That is why Regen Studio has created, as far as we are concerned, a beautiful visual identity. This will help us deliver the impact we are after, namely natural, human and urban ecosystem regeneration in our lifetime and on a global scale.
Why the name Regen Studio?
Taking regeneration as a guiding principle, but realizing it is not much of a catchy word, one arrives quickly at the abbreviated 'Regen', to which we added 'Studio' to incorporate the element of creativity and design.

But there is more to it. The word 'Regen' in The Netherlands, where Regen Studio's roots lie, means 'Rain', arguably the mother of all regeneration on earth. Although one could assume otherwise, the words are not stemmed from the same language root. Regeneration comes from the Latin 'regeneratio', being born again, whereas regen stems from a Proto-Indo-European root meaning wet or moist.
Still, on a more conceptual level, Rain and Regeneration together can be the basis of a beautiful visual story of how regeneration works. This is how we came up with the rain drop.
The Raindrop
Without water, life on earth cannot exist. And without rain, life on land would have never been able to flourish. At least until the human species pressed its footprint on the world.

At Regen Studio, the drop of water in our logo embodies the essence of transformation and regeneration. Just as a single raindrop can signal the rebirth of a barren landscape, so too does each of our innovations represent a beacon of renewal, with the potential to rejuvenate not only the earth but also the spirit of creativity itself. This drop reflects our dedication to harnessing nature's regenerative power, drawing a parallel between the cycle of water and the cycle of ideas—from vapor to rain, nourishing the soil, washing our cities and returning to the skies, while the flow of ideas that evaporate from collective knowledge, condense into tangible solutions, and rain down upon society. The Pencil

Crafted itself from wood, clay and graphite the pencil also embodies humanity's ingenuity, power and responsibility in it's shaping of the natural world.

The Chameleon
The chameleon is the master of adaptation, transformation and even regeneration. Did you know that they can grow back entire limbs? With its ability to blend seamlessly into any environment, regulate temperature and communicate through changing it's color, the chameleon symbolizes our commitment to creating anti-fragile innovations that can adapt to the changing environment. Furthermore, chameleon's have 360-degree vision, allowing them so observe their entire surroundings, just as Regen Studio looks for inspiration from all corners of the globe. More than that, it's a testament to our vision of a world where innovation perpetually regenerates, evolves, and flourishes alongside nature.
